Communications & Supporter Care Lead

Chair of the Board
Chairs the board of trustees, which holds the executive team accountable for strategy, safeguarding and financial integrity.
Treasurer
Provides board-level oversight of financial management, audit and reserves policy.
Board Secretary
Maintains the board's governance records and ensures decisions are properly documented and followed through.
Trustee
Brings independent oversight and sector experience to the board's work.
Governance
A board that always agrees with its executive team is not providing oversight. Ours is structured so that disagreement is possible and expected.
The list above covers our own staff and trustees, and it is the smaller part of the picture. The people who actually lead the work in each community are pastors, committee chairs, head teachers, health volunteers and mediators who live there.
We do not publish their names and photographs as though they were our staff, for two reasons. They are not our employees — they lead partner organisations in their own right. And in several of the contexts where our partners serve, publishing the identity of a Christian leader online would put them at real risk.
We recruit on merit, and we try to describe what a job actually involves rather than what it sounds like. Everyone who joins completes safeguarding training regardless of role or seniority.
