A Christian humanitarian ministry

Relief today. Renewal tomorrow. Reconciliation that lasts.

We serve vulnerable communities alongside the local churches and leaders who already live there — meeting urgent needs, building lasting change, and repairing the relationships that poverty and conflict break.

  • Led by local churches and community leaders
  • Help is never conditional on belief
  • Every project has a planned handover
  • We publish what does not work

Our mission

Serving people with dignity, alongside the church that will still be there in twenty years

To serve vulnerable communities alongside local churches and leaders — meeting urgent needs, building lasting change, and pursuing the reconciliation of people to God and to one another.

Why “reconciliation”?

Because what keeps many communities poor is a broken relationship, not only a missing resource. Repairing it changes material outcomes.

How we serve

Three commitments, held together

Relief on its own becomes dependency. Development on its own ignores the family with nothing to eat this week. We hold all three together, in every community.
Today

Relief

Immediate, practical help for people in crisis — food, safe water, health care, shelter and family support.

  • Food and nutrition support
  • Safe drinking water
  • Community health care
  • Shelter and essentials
  • Care for children and caregivers

Transformation

The clearest sign that development worked is that we are no longer needed

We are not trying to build an organisation that lasts forever in the places we work. We are trying to build communities that no longer need one.

So every project we fund has a handover point agreed at the start, and we judge ourselves by what is still running years afterwards — committees still meeting, savings groups still lending, teachers still in post.

  • Communities set the priorities and contribute first
  • We repair what exists before building anything new
  • Handover is planned from day one, not improvised at the end
  • We measure what lasts, not what we delivered

Prayer comes first

We pray before we plan

This work is not finally accomplished by our competence. Our prayer team receives specific requests from partner communities — and reports back on the answers, including when the answer was not what we hoped.

Urgent requests right now

Updated weekly
  • Parts for broken water points

Several communities are waiting on parts for water points that failed before the dry season. Pray that the parts arrive and that the newly trained committees hold together through the wait.

  • Mothers awaiting delivery

Several mothers in remote communities are approaching delivery with long journeys to the nearest facility. Pray for safe deliveries and for the transport arrangements to hold.

  • Children at risk of not returning to school

A number of children may not return next term because their household cannot meet the costs. Pray for the support to reach them, and for it to be given discreetly.

In their words

What partners and supporters tell us

We would rather be trusted than impressive, so we ask partners and supporters to tell us plainly how we are doing.

“Other organisations came, built something, and left. This partnership asked us first what we had decided to do — and then helped us do it. The committee still meets every month.”

“We were already serving our neighbours with almost nothing. What changed was the training, and being trusted to make the decisions ourselves.”

“The savings group taught me to keep records. Now I know what my stall earns, and for the first time I can plan for the school term instead of dreading it.”

Take the next step

Communities are not waiting for us to arrive. They are waiting for the resources to finish what they have started.

Give, pray, or partner with us — and we will tell you honestly what your support achieved, including the parts that did not go to plan.
