The role

What you would be doing

  • Design monitoring frameworks focused on sustained outcomes
  • Support partners to collect data proportionately and usefully
  • Lead post-handover reviews years after project completion
  • Produce honest public reporting, including of failures

What we are looking for

  • Monitoring and evaluation experience in international development
  • Comfort with qualitative as well as quantitative methods
  • Ability to write clearly for non-specialist audiences
  • Scepticism about vanity metrics

Working here

We are a small organisation. There is no large team behind you, you will do your own administration, and the work is demanding. Programme roles involve travel to partner communities, sometimes in difficult conditions.

We also expect staff to be able to challenge leadership, and we protect people who do. Safeguarding training is mandatory for every role without exception.
