Ask us to pray with you
Prayer is not something we only do for the communities we serve. If you are carrying something, we would be glad to carry it with you.
How we handle your request
Confidential unless you say otherwise
- Your request goes to our small prayer team, and nowhere else.
- Nothing is published on our prayer wall without your explicit permission.
- We do not add you to any mailing list because you asked for prayer.
- You can ask us to stop praying, or to delete your request, at any time.
- If you would prefer to remain anonymous, simply say so in your message.
If you need urgent help
Prayer matters, and it is not a substitute for medical, psychological or safeguarding support. If you are in crisis, please contact your local emergency services or a crisis helpline where you are.
If you are raising a safeguarding concern about someone connected to our work, please use our safeguarding reporting route instead, so that it reaches the right person immediately.
Your prayer request
Share as much or as little as you want to. There is no minimum.
What we will actually do
Your request is read by a person, not filed by a system. It goes to our prayer and discipleship team, who pray through requests together each week.
Where you have given permission, it is shared with the wider prayer team — which includes partner congregations who pray for supporters as consistently as supporters pray for them, and frequently with more discipline.
You will hear back from us. Not with a form response, and not with an appeal attached.
On grief, and not rushing it
Some of what people bring us is loss, and we have learned to be careful here. Resolution is offered far too early and far too often, usually by people who were not harmed.
Our own trauma healing work begins with lament rather than resolution, and scripture is entirely unembarrassed about that — a third of the Psalms are complaints. If what you need is for someone to sit with something rather than tidy it up, say so, and that is what we will do.
“Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.”
